The NHS App team is helping with the delivery of urgent health based messages for flu vaccinations and your NHS records show you are eligible for this vaccine.
You cannot opt out of national invitations for your flu jab.
This is supported by regulation 3(3) of the Health Service (Control of Patient Information) Regulations 2002 (COPI), which were made under section 251 of the NHS Act 2006.
This regulation enables the flu vaccination programme to send reminders to attend for vaccination to those eligible or on behalf of those eligible, across the whole of England. Please do not switch off NHS App notifications as there are other types of messages that you can receive such as communications from your practice.
