You can access NHS account services from the browser on your desktop or laptop computer, at https://www.nhsapp.service.nhs.uk/login. If you do not have an NHS login, you can set one up on your first visit.
You will need to prove who you are to access all the services available in the NHS App.
You can prove who you are by either:
- Uploading photo ID and recording a short video this is easiest on a smartphone but can work if the laptop or tablet you are using has a webcam
- Providing registration details for GP online services
Or, you can ask your GP surgery for the registration details:
- Linkage key (also called a 'third-party passphrase')
- ODS code
- Account ID
You will need to prove who you are to your GP surgery, if you are registering for online services for the first time. They may ask to see an ID document.
