You can use the NHS App on a compatible Android or Apple tablet.
If your tablet cannot receive phone calls and texts, you will also need another device, with a UK telephone number, so that we can send you a temporary access code.
We'll send a code to the number you give us:
- When you register for the app
- Each time you use it (unless you have set up fingerprint unlock, Touch ID or Face ID)
After you have registered, if your tablet supports it, you can set up fingerprint unlock, Touch ID or Face ID. The next time you log in, you'll be asked to touch the fingerprint sensor or look at the device instead of entering a password and access code.
