To check if you have received a message, select Messages.
You will then see any message inboxes that are available to you. Select any of these, and any new messages will be at the top of your message list.
Messaging is for non-urgent queries. This means you may not get a quick response from your GP surgery. If you haven't received a reply, and you need this information now, call your GP surgery.
Your message may be read by any member of clinical or administrative staff at your GP surgery. To ensure you receive the best care, you may get a reply from a different GP or member of staff.
Why do I have no messages?
If you have never sent or received a message, you will not have any messages.
How do I reply to a message?
Currently, you cannot directly reply to a message. Depending on your GP surgery and the inboxes available to you, you may be able to send a new message. You can also call your GP surgery to discuss your message further.
How to send a new message
If this inbox is available to you through your GP surgery, you can:
- Go to Messages.
- Select GP surgery messaging.
- Select Send a message.
- Follow the on-screen instructions.
I'm not happy with a response to my message, what can I do?
If you're not happy with a response to your message, call your GP surgery to discuss this with them.
Who can see my message?
Any member of clinical or administrative staff at your GP surgery may see your message. If you send a message to a certain GP or member of staff, your message may still be read by someone else.
