Error code 3f means your GP Practice does not currently support the NHS account.
This could be due to one of the following reasons:
- you are registered to a GP Practice located outside of England - Please see Point 1 below
- you are registered to an armed forces GP Practice (army, navy and air force) - Please see Point 2 below
(1) If your GP Practice is located outside of England
The NHS App is not available in:
- Scotland
- Wales
- Northern Ireland
- the Crown Dependencies
This is because their health services are devolved.
You can still use the NHS account via the NHS App or NHS.UK to get health advice, even if you live outside England. But you cannot access any GP services.
Sharing your COVID-19 status, if you live outside of England
You can request a paper copy of your COVID-19 status by calling 119.
To do this, you will need your:
- NHS number
- date of birth
(2) If you are registered with an Armed Forces GP Practice
Armed forces personnel cannot use the NHS App. They should use the web version available via
NHS.UK. Details of this can be found on the MOD Defence gateway and on My Healthcare Hub

escalate the issue to the Vaccine Data Resolution Team by calling 119.
