Messaging
Messaging allows you to securely send and receive messages with your GP surgery in your NHS account (accessed via the NHS App or NHS.UK). Messaging is for non-urgent queries that do not require an immediate response. If you need advice now, call your GP surgery, go to 111.nhs.uk or call 111. Currently, you can use messaging if: You are a patient at a GP surgery that uses TPP (SystmOnline) and EMIS (Patient Access) Your GP surgery has messaging turned on If you're not sure which system your GP surgery uses, ask your surgery. You can only send messages to your GP surgery for queries about yourself. You cannot send messages on behalf of someone else, like dependants you care for.
